LEAH HENDERSON
As Pastry Chef for D'Amico Cucina, Café Lurcat, Campiello, and Masa, Leah Henderson oversees the creation of the ambrosial desserts that compliment the exceptional dinners at each restaurant. Henderson joined the D'Amico organization in 1993 and has been honing her skills and delighting guests ever since.
A lifetime devotee of desserts, Henderson has pursued her love of the fine art of upscale desserts entirely on her own. Through self-study and perseverance she has emerged as a natural talent. She shares her enthusiasm and ability with others by teaching adult cooking classes and admits to being inspired by her hobby of collecting vintage cookbooks.
Henderson, a true daughter of the Heartland, grew up on a western Minnesota Dairy Farm. She received her BS in Food and Nutrition from North Dakota State University and worked in the catering business in Nebraska before moving to Minneapolis.
